We bear witness to the pain, loss, and injustices detailed most recently in the In Plain Sight report. We see you, we hear you, we share the grief and mourning for the continuing loss of missing and murdered children, women, and two spirited people in Indigenous, Black, racialized, and othered communities.

We vow to continue our work as perinatal health researchers, advocates and healthcare providers to demonstrate how intersecting injustices impact the health and well-being of childbearing people. Safety, security, and freedom are core tenets of reproductive justice. We are not safe, till everyone is safe. We are not free, until every human is free.
